Not a lot of sewing done this weekend.

Putting the rows together on Tiffany Stars and the binding on Jellyroll Jazz. I need to find some fabric for the border, backing and binding on Tiffany.

I should hunt through the stash first but I don’t think I have what I’d like for this quilt. We’ll see. May need to be thrifty but a trip to the quilt fabric shop would be a treat.

What do pirates wear in the winter? Long Johns!

What’s a pirate’s favourite letter? Rrrrrrrrr!

Jelly Roll Roger measures 56 x 46 inches. 

Batting is a wool/polyester 60/40 mix.

With the the leftover blocks and fabric, I made a pillow case

It’s been a cold, wet, wintry weekend here in Sydney. Perfect weather for sewing down a quilt binding.

Ambleside is finished.

Made from a layer cake of Ambleside by Brenda Riddle for Moda using a pattern from YouTuber Sew the Distance

Quilt design is a Baptist Fan using a Westalee ruler.  Batting is a cotton/bamboo mix.

Backing and binding from Spotlight.

Finished quilt measures 52.5 inches square. A simple design in a pretty spring palette.
