New Patterns

I have been quite self-indulgent and bought myself some patterns. Four are from Margot Languedoc's The Pattern Basket. Margot designs lovely projects and has featured on Moda Baskeshop. I found Margot's site one day when I was pootling about on the internet. I really like her designs and will enjoy collecting fabrics for these projects.

The other two patterns are from Crabapple Hill - both with a tea theme. They even come with a cake recipe!

I'm looking forward to making them. Today I mailed a parcel to Tracey - my swap partner for the Itching 2 B Stitching Fat Quarter Swap and Gail's giveaway goodies. Can't wait for them to arrive girls!

Happy Stitching

  2. I too have been indulging in patterns, although I never seem to get around to making them. But I'll have them "when I need them". I guess that is a trait I inherited from my Dad! LOL

  6. The patterns look great, and a lot of fun.

I have never seen the term "pootling" before, and I love it! It's a really great word.

Cake Recipes! How cool is that... tea and cake. I am definitely going to have to find a way to visit. It may take me 5-10 years though. But something to work toward.

PS - I just had to add, my word verification is "reckerma". It struck me as funny, don't know why.

  8. Good Morning Ann on this lovely Saturday. At least you can have chocolate...and was wondering, have you tried the organic wine...perhaps it might suit you???I'm thinking now, compared to a lot of allergies out there perhaps gluten free isn't so bad after all!!! Great patterns too, will keep you busy for a while...have a lovely weekend, Dzintra

You probably didn't need an excuse to find more fabic if you are like the rest of us, but can I use this one? Next time my husband asks, I'll just tell him I have a new pattern. Tee Heee.
