This little sweetie is just 12 1/2 inches - well it will be when it's finished. Each star block is only 3 inches.
It's a design by Ann Hermes and I used the lovely reproduction fabrics purchased at the quilt show. Ann uses snippets of vintage fabrics in her projects.
Thanks to some handy hints from Ann this quilt was easier to manage than my first effort.
I do like miniatures.
I have just discovered that Shabby Fabrics have a blog. I do like this shop and they have lots of lovely fabrics and projects.
Happy Stitching
Star blocks are one of my favourites and blue is to. I have problems making miniatures but it is so cute that I may have to have a go afterseeing yours. Well done Hugs Bec
ReplyDeleteAnn, it's wonderful, I have never made anything small, its on my list of things to try, but not yet. I made those stars last month at 6 inches and wanted to scream! I need a new iron and more paitence I think =)
ReplyDeleteI have met so many of your countrymen vacationing here in Peru. They have all been such happy, fun people, really enjoying life! AND, we speak the same language!
