Wonderful Gifts

A little while ago, I won a giveaway on Ariane's blog. She told me it would be a surprise and it was!

I have been watching her make this wonderful piece, commenting on how delighted its recipient would be to receive it - never knowing that it was for me all along!

Thank you so much Ariane! I am delighted to receive such a beautiful hand quilted piece.

Ariane also sent some pretty fat quarters.

My dear friend Kelli (andthentheresrustic) read my post about Loani Prior's Really Wild Tea Cosies and then had it sent to me for my birthday. I couldn't wait until the day. I had to open the parcel straightaway! Sorry Kelli.

Loani's right - they really are wild!

Check out Loani's blog to see the others. I can't wait to make some.

Thanks Kelli! My love of knitting has been rekindled by your thoughtful gift.

Happy Mothers Day to all my bloggy friends - whether your babies be two legged or four.

Ann
