If I could only remember where I put her helpful tome. Sigh, it's got to be here somewhere.
I know, I know....time management and organisation are the keys to domestic success.
Guess I should quit while I'm ahead.....
This should cheer me up!
I have got to start sewing!
Been there, done that, LOL!ReplyDelete
Oh goodness a real pink girly issue to be sure!ReplyDelete
Love this mag!!!
So what will you do first?????? Loving that quilt on the left!
Can I place my order??? hahaha!
You are tooo funny. That magazine looks scrumptous. It seems like everyone is posting about how hard it is to find time to sew. It just means that everything else doesn't get done. I was just thinking this morning, I wish I had a cook and cleaning lady to help. If that was true we would all have time to sew.ReplyDelete
Have a gread day.
There a Mrs. Beeton on my bookshelf if you need it :) I know I fall to pieces when I don't have a "to do" list - though the list can be depressing when not enough things get crossed off! Here's hoping the magazine cheered you up. Which project caught your eye?ReplyDelete
Tell me you are not still cleaning! Time for a break and sewing therapy! I say this as my sewing table is buried and so is my desk!ReplyDelete
The magazine looks fantastic. I love the Austrailian quilting magazines. I guess since they are more expensive here and harder to find they really catch my attention. Not that the USA magazines are bad, I like the patterns I see from Austrailia. Funny huh! Hope you get in the mood to sew again soon, with your fall and winter seasons coming I bet you will. Just have some fun!ReplyDelete
Thats me in the top photo! I am making preserves out my Mrs Beeton book this week :)ReplyDelete
Looks just like my house!ReplyDelete
I've found about 6 lists from the past while looking for the most recent one --- many times!
I think I'll go sew right now! To heck with the mess!
I have a good excuse; no need to clean now; it would just get tracked up again. After a month or more dry spell, in the past 30 hours, I've emptied 7.2" rain from the rain gauge in my back yard! As soon as I poured it out, here came another big downpour, and it is supposed to rain most of the day --- again! (But we'll take it; no complaints!) Sorry; just had to share that! ---"Love"
Who's Mrs. Beeton?ReplyDelete
Oh Ann you are too funny! I just love your pictures! Hey - housework is always there - never seems to do itself so just sit back and enjoy the magazine - everything else can wait a day or two!ReplyDelete
lol My house looks like that too. But its not going to stop me sewing. Hope to get lots done today. And yes you have got to start sewing. Have a great dayReplyDelete
Ann, there's nothing better than a quilting magazine in my mailbox after a long day's work. That's an invitation to come in, get a glass of lemonade(or hot tea), and sit down in my favorite blue chair, feet propped up, as I finger through beautiful quilting projects. Enjoy!! By-the-way, the pink table topper with ric rac was inspired by the beautiful tablerunner you made for me. Thank you!ReplyDelete
By the end of winter it's easy to get into a rut. Now spring is here (and a new mag!) hopefully things will look up!ReplyDelete
The magazine looks great...Pink is my favorite colour!ReplyDelete
Hi Ann, I have to get that magazine too :o) And you have to find your needle..... lol..ReplyDelete
I'm sure you'll be cheered up with that Homespun Ann...I saw it the other day and haven't received mine yet...it looks a gorgeous issue...Happy Sewing, Dzintra♥xReplyDelete
Loved your cartoons and the other looks like my sewing room! Thanks for sharing and the smile on my face. :) CarolynReplyDelete
Me too. I'm embarrassed by all the projects others are posting... I'd feel better if my house was spotless or I had been on a cooking craze. Maybe it's a bug some of us have caught?!ReplyDelete
I was with Ann Hermes--I had to look up Mrs. Beeton. Ha! Mary
I just love the photos you find!! hahah! Hey its important to have design time too- even if that design time is just daydreaming and reading delightful quilt magazines :)ReplyDelete
