hacked

Hi Folks

My email account has been hacked so you'll be getting some strange emails from me with links.

Please do not click on the links or your account will be hacked too.

Regrettably, this is all part and parcel of life on the internet. Some folks need to be more constructive with their time.

  4. I've gotten lots of emails from folks I know, you included. Although the one with your name on it was in the wrong email account. I always look at the address and if I don't recognize it then just delete it. My geek-boys tell me they are stealing the names from our own address books, I forgot to ask if there is a block! I'll have to do that.

  5. I think I got one too! But since I was on my machine in work, the link was blocked by our security program. Thank goodness!

  6. I received one yesterday and since it was only the link, I just deleted it. I know you write a little message, so thought it was unusual. Hope all is well now!

  7. As many of your readers know, I was hacked recently too; e-mails were sent to everyone in my contacts! I changed my passwords, and that has helped so far; at least it stopped more being sent from my address for now. I did receive two from you, but deleted them without opening. ---"Love"

  8. So sorry that happened to you. Happened to me a while back too. I never open something that seems unusual from the person it came from.

  9. I think it happens to everyone at least once. When it happened to me, an email was sent out spruiking the new iPhone...and I'd just bought one, so some people thought I'd actually sent it!
