Diamonds Are Forever

Well, these will last a while to be sure. This is my *in-between* project while the winter keeps me out of the sewing room.

(Couldn't be anything to do with the fact it's a mess in there)

I've had the idea for this quilt for a little while now but was spurred on when I read Pam Bunda's article about make-do quilts in the April issue of American Patchwork & Quilting.

How funky is that cover quilt?! May have to put that on the to-do list as well.

I'll be adding a soft white to the mix when I find the right one. Hmm, I feel a shop hop coming on.....

Happy Stitching!

Ann

  3. I love the idea of "make do and mend", these type of quilts seem to have so much more character. I look forward to watching your progress. :-)

  5. There is nothing better than stars IMHO :0) I'm not much of a stash buster so I'm not so sure I'll ever make a "make do" quilt...besides shopping is much more fun LOL.

  14. So perfect!

I am new to blogging but loving the way the groups all share their ideas and beautiful work.

So hear you about the sewing room. I have taken over the dining room and not sure if I am coping with the mess moving into the main part of the house but........ one needs to sew.

Be looking forward to the warmer weather.
