Yes indeedy, BLUE is the colour chosen by Angela for this month's Rainbow Scrap Challenge blocks.
I had most of the day to spend sewing (a rare treat these days) so I made another one. . .
. . . and since I had lunch and dinner organised I worked a little on the Civil War style blocks.
When making HSTs, I always make them a wee bit bigger and trim them back.
How was your weekend? Any sewing happening?
Your blue blocks are very striking, and refreshing! Your Civil War fabrics are really pretty too. I need to get busy with my CW fabrics again before I go down! ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteLOVE your blue blocks. There is just something about blue and white together. I am having a lovely weekend, thank you.....enjoying a little hexie stitching. =)

ReplyDeleteBonus block! Lucky you with most of a day to sew. That rarely happens around here, as every time I think I have a day, the hubby comes up with something I MUST help with! Beautiful blocks!
ReplyDeleteI love blue and white! Those blocks are lovely! I do the same with HSTs and it takes a lot of time, doesn't it? It pays off though.
ReplyDeleteLove the blue and white! I am slowly getting my sewing room organized. I'm still putting together a stash of quilting cottons for someday!
ReplyDeleteLove your blue blocks! What size are the finished blocks? I may need to make some of these.
