this is my chameleon rose
it didn't look like this last year and I was going to put it out of its misery
amazing what a difference a little care and attention makes
these little pretties fade to a soft pale creamy apricot
sewing is finally happening here with these cute fabrics
i'm stitching...i'm stitching...i'm stitching

That rose is beautiful! I'm glad you didn't put it out of it's misery! And what are those fabrics...Christmas perhaps? What a tease, though I'm happy to hear you're sewing! Soon you'll have more for us to show, I hope.
ReplyDeleteThe rose is beautiful!!! Wish I had a green thumb, but I don't.
ReplyDeleteCute fabrics. Can't wait to see what you are doing with them.
Lovely rose, mine are fading :( Glad to hear you are stitching at last!
ReplyDeleteYour roses are just gorgeous! Shows what a little love and attention can do. Your fabrics look a little Christmasy to me, can't wait to see what you are up to.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous rose! Love the color combo. Did you know that you can refurbish old roses simply by cutting them back to ground level? Did you get more rain than usual this year? We did and my big rose bush is now two feet taller than it's ever been! (It usually reaches 6 feet)
