Very pretty choices, both. (Though I particularly love the Diet Coke can in the second...a little bit of reality there, right?) Good luck using up scraps!
I love the carpenter star block done with scraps. That's a great project. I'm trying to use my scraps too. I hope to be able to do some sewing tomorrow so that I can reduce my bin!!
I have to check out your links. Scrapo quilts are so pretty and I love pulling scraps and remembering what project they came from. I like year of the scraps. Good idea.

ReplyDeleteOooooooh, pretty! I think I like the second design the best.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I just picked up three scrap quilt books. Looks like you are right!

ReplyDeleteYou're another one with good ideas for the New Year! I like the first choice best, but the second would be easier for me--I think? Have fun! ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteWhen I get back to quilting... scrap busting is what I want to do. I like the first block. Can't wait to see what you decide and the progress!
