never mind year of the dragon - 2012 is definitely the year of the scraps.

    Very pretty choices, both. (Though I particularly love the Diet Coke can in the second...a little bit of reality there, right?) Good luck using up scraps!

    I love the carpenter star block done with scraps. That's a great project. I'm trying to use my scraps too. I hope to be able to do some sewing tomorrow so that I can reduce my bin!!

    When I get back to quilting... scrap busting is what I want to do. I like the first block. Can't wait to see what you decide and the progress!

    I have to check out your links. Scrapo quilts are so pretty and I love pulling scraps and remembering what project they came from. I like year of the scraps. Good idea.
