may

Not a lot of sewing happening around here but I have been working on the next sections of the charity quilt.

These are long pieced strips which need to be quilted. I am rather impressed with how the QAYG method is working on this quilt.

In the meantime, I'm still searching for a small iron to make work on the Park Avenue Rosette blocks more manageable.

Also proving vexing is how I am going to join my EPP star blocks. I've seen a couple of variations on the net but may put it to a vote here.

Stay tuned...

  1. Love the colors of the charity quilt! I look forward to seeing it completed! Which Quilt as You Go method are you using? I have a couple of block sets from last year I'd like to do that way but I'm not sure which process to use.

I have a little clover iron, it's ok but I doubt I'd buy another. Somewhere on the net I saw someone using a small cordless iron, I thought that would be neat-no cord to keep out of the way, but I haven't seen one in the stores. So good luck!

  2. I have a small travel iron that I take to classes, I like it because it is lightweight and of course small.
Your charity block is looking good.
