rain
At last we've had some - it is most welcome and even though it's causing flooding in areas, it is extinguishing some of the bushfires.
Thank you for your comments on my last post. For unknown reasons, Blogger is not sending them to my email. You know, I may just move this blog to Wordpress.
With Christmas and New Year out of the way, visiting family gone and the house restored to some semblance of order, sewing has recommenced.
I've picked up where I left off (last October - yikes) working on the scrappy Cats Cradle blocks. So easy to make and no triangles. You do need the special ruler. Mine was a gift from a fellow blogger, crafter and quilter Kelli H - thank you Kelli.
Gotta love chain piecing.

So happy you have some rain, Ann. Glad too, that it is falling where the bushfires are burning. Yes, chain piecing is fabulous. Your Cats Cradle blocks are looking great.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad for the rain. And glad it is helping. (Not so thankful for my snow of late...3" already this morning...) As for comments not showing up, mine did this a while ago. Go into your comment moderation settings and unclick (or whatever) the email option. Save. Close that window/tab. Go back in and recheck it to have them sent to your email and save and close again. That worked for me, hopefully it will work for you. (I know the joy of opening my email to find comment love!)
ReplyDeleteSo glad for rain and that it is helping. Nice to see you picking up some sewing. Pretty blocks.
ReplyDeleteLet's all thank God for the rain there, and that you have been safe through all the fire! I got 3" rain one day last week, and more this week; we really needed it too. Glad to see you are sewing again; I'm not there yet. I'm still shredding and digging through "old" things! I think next week I'll start sewing for a change. That old stuff can stay there a little longer! Looking forward to seeing what you are making. ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to hear you got some rain, hope it will continue to get the rest of the fires under control and not flood too much. Glad you are sewing again, your green fabrics are lovely!
