Winding Ways by Clare Mooney
Isn't it lovely?
I've been looking for a blue and white quilt pattern for ages and I think this might be the one...at least until the next one comes along!
This quilt is featured in the current issue of Australian Homespun Vol 10.5 and it's a terrific issue with loads of super projects. Well, ones that I liked anyway.
I needed a distraction as I'm am still working on quilting Paisley Parade and stitching my Bunny Hill BOMs. I know I promised to have it finished but last weekend was a write-off for sewing.
Hope you are making better progress with your projects than I seem to be with mine!
Happy Stitching

ReplyDeleteI'm with you. It's hard to find a blue & white quilt that I don't like.

Ooooh that is a pretty pattern, I've always wanted to do a blue and white quilt, something reminding me of Delft Pottery.

That's a lovely blue and white quilt. I think I might like to do that one as well, if I ever get through the list of projects ahead of it! The paisley looks wonderful but quilting can become tedious.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
A very pretty one for sure. Reminds me of the book...Winding Ways...;-)
ReplyDeleteWell you do such involved piecing on such beautiful patterns so takes a while...your finished quilts are wonderful!
Look forward to seeing Paisley when you are finished with it. Are you hand quilting it or machine?
Either way when you are finished you can just ship it on to me... ha!!

I love it Ann. The colors are so soothing. I love your magazines. It is hard to get subscriptions in the US. You ladies are the best at needlework.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to love making it with the colors. I can't wait to see it.

PS...Any news from Jen or Ant?
What more beautiful quilt, Ann! I love too.
ReplyDeleteMy list of projects only grows... but I still want to make a blue project too. Wonderful!

What a wonderful quilt to do.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to consider having two lists. Quilts I have/want to do... and Quilts I'd like to do someday.
I fully understand about taking a break from one project. Just don't get to far on the others. I've done that... and need to get back to them.

I saw that quilt too - it is beautiful! But did you see the number of pieces required? That scared me off straight away!!!
