Making Friends Again

I thought it was high time I became reacquainted with the scrap quilt top I finished last year. It's a combination of hand and machine piecing. I'm using a cotton batting that can be machine and/or hand quilted. I was thinking I might hand quilt the diamonds. Maybe. We'll see.

Also made a start on one of the baby quilts I'm making. It's called Farmyard Stack.

Happy Stitching

  1. I love your scrappy quilt. It looks gorgeous. I can't wait to see it all done. The appliques for your Farmyard Stack quilt is so adorable. Is this a pattern you purchased or one you made yourself. I'd love to get one. It looks so great.

  4. I like the look of the scrappy quilt, lots of quilting to do either way you go but it will be lovely in the end! The baby quilt is adorable! It's funny, you sew more and I travel more and we both wish the reverse were true! Have fun.

  5. Love the scrappy quilt, and kudos to you for thinking of doing some hand quilting on it. My hand quilting leaves much to be desired, and I'm usually way too impatient to spend the time to do it right. That Barnyard Stack is just too cute - it will make a fabulous baby quilt

  9. I too love the scrappy quilt. The colors are great. I too use cotton batting.
The baby quilt is adorable. Reminds me of the little cubby toys they tend to stack when playing.
