So I went to the quilt shop for supplies. I needed
* basting spray
* rotary cutter blades
* thread
* some backing fabric
I visited a new quilt shop, well not really new I only just discovered it on the weekend. You know what it's like when you visit a new shop...for the first time...
All the fabric, patterns, quilts, notions. Focus Ann - Focus!
Got home and unpacked the shopping bag.
* backing fabric - check
* thread - check
* rotary cutter blades - check
* basting spray....
***darn***drat***blast!!!
I forgot to pick up basting spray. Sigh. There was just enough left in the can at home for one block.
Too many other goodies to distract you in the quilt shop I think Ann.

ReplyDeleteWell, that's me down to my toes! Can't go the any store and get home with everything I need without a list! Of course, there are always several things that aren't on my list that I bring home, grin.

ReplyDeleteSadly that is my life now. I never get everything I need in one trip. FYI if you use hair spray with extra hold it works too.

ReplyDeleteI used to do that. Now I keep a running list of stuff I need and MAKE SURE I TAKE IT WITH ME! After all, it won't do you any good if you leave it at home (I've done that, too, LOL)! It also helps to use up those JoAnn's 40 & 50% off coupons to the max!
