With the Australia Day holiday long weekend I found some time to finish the second block for the charity quilt.
The size of the blocks hasn't really changed because the quilting is pretty simple. Finished size is about 18 inches.
Target for February is another two blocks.
Great progress! Better than me!
ReplyDeleteLooks good. Glad you got a chance to do some sewing.
ReplyDeleteKeep stitching.
Looking good! Hope you enjoyed your long weekend holiday.
ReplyDeleteThe fabrics are really pretty. This is a quilt-as-you-go?

Very pretty blocks. Like Liri, I'm wondering ---you are quilting each block as you go? I've been studying a bit about that idea, so I'll be watching closely to see how you put them together! ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteI´m sure you are QAYG... I´ve done my first big one (log Cabin) and my Dresden´s that way. Also made several with strips, as in OZ Comfort Quilts. I´ll keep an eye on your just to see how you will join blocks. They look really pretty!
ReplyDeleteThankss for all your wonderful comments! Yes, these are Quilt as You Go. I've made cushions and wallhangings but never a quilt.
