I've earned mine I hope!
I chose the striped fabric from the range for the binding on this quilt. I would liked to have used that multi-coloured spot for the backing fabric but there was a budget for this project.
Alternatives had to be found and hopefully what I've chosen will be okay.
Getting closer now.
Found this little gem on the internet. Made me smile.
I like that striped fabric for the binding, it is going to look great! Can't wait to see the final reveal!

ReplyDeleteThis baby quilt is so cute! The stripe is just perfect. I love the "husband"--I'm always amused at the number of quilt shops with "Husband chairs" in the corner. :))
ReplyDeleteLove the stripes - it is perfect for the binding! Great job on the quilting too!
ReplyDeleteDon't know why my previous comment appeared twice. I must have hit "Publish" twice. Sorry; and then when I tried to delete one entry, both disappeared. Sorry again! Anyway, I like striped bindings anywhere, anytime, and of course, the husband thing gave me a giggle. ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteI like the striped binding. And you have definitely earned your stripes in my book. You are my quilting hero.
ReplyDeleteWaiting...waiting! ;) Those stripes look great. Ha ha, that quote is priceless... a quote on many a husband's lips!
ReplyDelete......striped binding is the perfect end for any quilt. Love striped bindins :) ....still waiting for the whole quilt to see.
ReplyDeleteHugs - and thanks for wounderful comments on my quilting projects :))
You're teasing again. *big sigh* You'd better get that quilt finished soon or I'm going to come down there and see it myself. (I'd love the vacation, but not sure reality can afford such an extravagance for a quilt reveal...)
ReplyDeleteThe striped binding is so cute! I love using stripes especially on bindings.
ReplyDeleteThe poor frustrated husband, LOL.
