Here's what I have been working on - a table mat, cushion, wallhanging and bag. Now I find myself with six unfinished projects (there are two quilts waiting to be quilted as well).
I'm not sure about this method - I usually like to finish a project before I start the next.
I also paid a visit to Country Pickin's at the Corner - a wonderful little shop packed to the rafters with fabric, kits, patterns, trinkets and threads. I found the remaining fabrics to make my next quilt. Of course, I would love to have left with loads more fabric but the budget just isn't stretching that far.
Sigh.
Here's the quilt I'll be making.
Happy Stitching
Its good to have a few things on the go at once. You never get board. Variety. Love the new fabric. Looking forward to the progress as you go. The quilt design looks great.
ReplyDeleteYour 3 projects are looking really good! Can't wait to see them finished! And the quilt you are going to make is gorgeous. I love the fabrics you picked out for it.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I'm drooling! The fabrics are gorgeous and what a wonderful quilt it will be!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'm capable of finishing one project before starting the next, so please don't feel guilty about having more than one on the go!
Funny how you start one...then another...and it keeps going!!! This is going to be a beautiful quilt Ann...look forward to seeing it. Now I'm off to check your link...Dzintra ♥
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of the fabrics that you have chosen. It will be a lovely quilt.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the Bless This House wall hanging. I love country folk art.

I really like your quilt. Nice to see someone making one in somewhat more subdued colors :)
ReplyDeleteIs the center medallion appliqued?
Hi Ann , Thanks for stopping by. I can't wait to finish my quilt as you go so that I can start another project. Wow you have been busy. I'm with you there the fabric is so expensive.

thst's a gorgeous quilt Ann - beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove the new pieces! They'll be finished sooner or later! LOL. The quilt is stunning, can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteAnn you are in very fine company... I don't even want to start counting how many projects I currently have on the go. Although, a few were finished for the quilt show. And of course, I've just started another one.
ReplyDeleteI love your choice of fabrics, I have just started noticing the aqua/teal and browns... could be because I saw some at a shop the other day, and they have a nautical theme... mmmmm. But my budget is stretched mighty thin too. They will look spectacular for the "new" quilt.

You have some lovely projects going.
