A Different Approach

Here's what I have been working on - a table mat, cushion, wallhanging and bag. Now I find myself with six unfinished projects (there are two quilts waiting to be quilted as well).

I'm not sure about this method - I usually like to finish a project before I start the next.

I also paid a visit to Country Pickin's at the Corner - a wonderful little shop packed to the rafters with fabric, kits, patterns, trinkets and threads. I found the remaining fabrics to make my next quilt. Of course, I would love to have left with loads more fabric but the budget just isn't stretching that far.

Sigh.

Here's the quilt I'll be making.

Happy Stitching

  1. Its good to have a few things on the go at once. You never get board. Variety. Love the new fabric. Looking forward to the progress as you go. The quilt design looks great.

  3. Oh my, I'm drooling! The fabrics are gorgeous and what a wonderful quilt it will be!!

I don't think I'm capable of finishing one project before starting the next, so please don't feel guilty about having more than one on the go!

  13. Ann you are in very fine company... I don't even want to start counting how many projects I currently have on the go. Although, a few were finished for the quilt show. And of course, I've just started another one.

I love your choice of fabrics, I have just started noticing the aqua/teal and browns... could be because I saw some at a shop the other day, and they have a nautical theme... mmmmm. But my budget is stretched mighty thin too. They will look spectacular for the "new" quilt.
