mistakes

I've made a few
When I finally got around to spending some time at the sewing table I got real friendly with the stitch un-picker.

Unperturbed, I carried on.

Then ran out of thread.

Went to the store.

Drove around looking for a park.

Found the thread.

Joined a long queue.

Kept 1.5m social distancing.

Hand sanitised.

Drove home.

In traffic.

Filled bobbins.

Made tea. Ate cake.

Ran out of half square triangle blocks.

Measured, Cut, Stitched. Snipped. Pressed.

I'm off to catch up on all your blog posts.

  1. Some days are like that, aren't they? Good to hear from you. Looking forward to seeing what that threat went into. I haven't accomplished much in the last month. Maybe I'll have something to show before long if I can just get motivated. ---"Love"

  4. Sounds like you deserve another cup of tea and a big slice of cake. Glad you found the sewing room.

  5. Oh, I've had those days, too!!! But I always try to tell myself to get all the goods and troubles out of the way at once and then, when they're done, I'll be worry-free for a bit. I'm not keeping close track, but it does seem to work out that way! I hope to see some photos of what you've been working on soon...maybe some inspiration for me, the seven-dozen cookie nutso over here...baked some for me, now baking some for a friend whose hubby came home from the rehab hospital in hospice care. Family are coming from all over the country and she's already got her hands full with her hubby. So a few dozen cookies should help, right? And I can quilt something later.
